That ring on the top looks like a machine-made part. Interesting if they used some kind of “casting molds” for common elements of ceramical things…
Clay moulds were definitely in use by this time. I couldn’t identify mould vs. hand-sculpted if my life depended on it, but it seems plausible that this may have been made with a mould!
