No, they are doing a lot of harm, an incalculable amount of harm. Removing artificial colours is a miniscule good thing in a sea of horrid things.

        sorry, no.

we have two laughably modest (but possibly decent) agency actions that have yet to be implemented and we have no real detail on.

I will weigh that against death by ‘vit a’ poisoning to ‘treat’ measles (sure, great if you are deficient - most people are not) and subsequent immune system collapse after infection and later life complications.

your boy remains a dangerous fraud and he in no way absolves either his agency or the wider administration. you are trying waaaaay too hard.

        edit: speeeeling is hurd.

But to your earlier point, isn’t that yet another of the “agency actions that have yet to be implemented and we have no real detail on.”

So why are you quick to jump on that as fact and terrible, but you are reluctant to say these two actions are good?

If you have to “wait to find out” on these actions and see if they are even implemented, don’t you have to do the same on the others that you don’t agree with as well?

the overwhelming bulk of the actions taken by this administration have already had direct, and potentially, life-ending consequences on its victims. there is no waiting needed… other than to see us further reap the whirlwind.

you are going to make no ideological headway with me. I have had interesting conversations with other self-described libertarians and, while we may agree at the periphery, our worldviews are 180° in opposition.

I will admit that I am surprised at your support of the big govt. crazy that is the current republican party - but whatever, man. I would have expected more pushback from individual libertarians when the fascists come a-goosestepping.

Actually they are slashing and closing govt offices. Which is why everyone on Lemmy is mad. They are trying to make smaller government, which is something I like.

govt small enough to crawl into every vagina and set up shop.

govt big enough to order private companies to modify ingredients in food.

your are all over the place, my friend.

No I’m not. I haven’t changed my stance on anything. Republicans are for smaller government than Democrats. This isn’t a new fact. Libertarians are for even smaller government. This isn’t a new fact.
