    Well, yes. I’m not sure what you expected to happen. Otherwise we get into the whole “HookerJack tried to impersonate us and raid Manechat” situation we had years back. As long as you make it abundantly clear you’re not affiliated with us, then it’s fine.

        Oh this is wild. So I noticed I got added as a mod from lemmy.world, but kbin.social doesn’t recognise me as a mod. wtf. This seems like a security flaw.

    Cool. Saved me the trouble from either setting up a nixbox or running a Docker instance hosting a basic linux install to run Lemmy. (or figuring out how much AWS would cost and try to raise the bits.)

    Obviously, I would have everything setup and approved by the mods before posting about it but meh.
