    China has every desire to see Ukraine defeated. If the Ukraine wins, Taiwan could too. Mr. Pooh Bear won’t like that at all

      On the other hand, if Russia wins, it could signal an era of stronger support for separatist groups in sovereign countries (since that was Russia’s tactic in attempting to annex Ukrainian territory) - something China is very much against due to the separatist groups in its own current borders.
