A cop accused of taking nude photographs of a child and a police chief accused of federal insider trading charges were among those suspended by the state police oversight board.

The four suspended officers join a list of 35 others suspended in recent months by the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission, or POST Commission, the still-developing state body charged with standardizing the training and certification of some 20,000 officers from public safety agencies across Massachusetts.

On Thursday, the commission announced the new suspensions of Joe Martinez, of the Boston Police Department; Shawn Cronin, who is on leave as police chief of the Dighton Police Department; Steven Amado, of the Duxbury Police Department; and Matthew Hubbard, of the Agawam Police Department.
