Showing a theoretical form of energy generation is physically possible and showing it’s actually viable are two very, very different things.
You should always remain extremely skeptical of claims regarding the applications new discoveries. Researchers are fishing for angel investors and increased funding. They will stretch the truth as far as possible to get them.
I mean that sounds super cool but when are we going to see this in daily life?
Makes sense. Reminds me of how neurons create electrical gradients to create the electricity (nerve conduction) necessary to move a muscle.
