Deputies said said Collins was traveling on a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600K motorcycle when, at the same time, an adult female was traveling the opposite direction in a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban SUV.
“At some point, the Chevrolet driver proceeded to turn left to travel south onto Northwest 33rd Avenue. As the car crossed the eastbound lanes, the motorcycle struck the rear passenger side of the SUV. The impact caused the motorcyclist to enter the rear passenger side window of the Chevrolet and come to a final rest inside the car. The collision also caused the Chevrolet to rotate clockwise before finally resting,” investigators said.
This is why I’ll never own a bike. Doesn’t help that half the bikers I see dress all black on a black bike with no lights on. You guys are crazy.
Bikes are hard to see. Drivers in cars pull dumb moves and they’re sometimes so unpredictable.
At the end of the day, no matter how right you are on a bike, you’re taking the bigger beating every time.
