Steven Spielberg production company will launch a 4 part documentary on UAPs/UFOs in September on Netflix.
It comes as explosive new revelations emerge from military whistleblowers of alien encounters, UFOs, and clandestine Pentagon programs, as well as coverage from major news sources, which have breathed a fresh urgency into a topic that, for decades, has been relegated to the realm of conspiracy
Steven Spielberg has always had a fascination with UFOs/UAPs. I’m excited to see his series. Additionally, the fact that it’s going to be on Netflix will likely further drive this conversation, reaching people who might not normally be exposed to this topic.
I would go further and say he’s got a lot of connections and knowledge:

In a new interview with Aint It Cool News, Spielberg details the time he screened his classic film “E.T.” at the White House for Reagan and distinguished guests – and the former president’s coy response to the alien epic.
“He just stood up and he looked around the room, almost like he was doing a headcount, and he said, ‘I wanted to thank you for bringing E.T. to the White House. We really enjoyed your movie,’ and then he looked around the room and said, And there are a number of people in this room who know that everything on that screen is absolutely true,'” Spielberg remembered. “And he said it without smiling! But he said that and everybody laughed, by the way. The whole room laughed because he presented it like a joke, but he wasn’t smiling as he said it.”
Thanks for bringing this up, I have not heard this before!
The Zimbabwe incident was very creepy and compelling. I was hoping this might actually be a dramatization of that incident but okay, another documentary is fine too. Normies will definitely be freaked out by that episode.
Maybe season 2. Might be a good idea to ease people into the phenomenon.
I suspect this will end up much like the four part Abrams one.
Quite possible, although I believe it did mention something along the lines of “new revelations”. I don’t know if that means Grusch or just new to most people.
Well, I mean, that’s exactly what the Abrams one was apart from the extended part on the Phoenix Lights.
This doc won’t be for hard core UFO people. It’ll retread most of what the Abrams Doc does. Throw in some old cases that one didn’t. And yes, maybe maybe have small references to Grusch since that is so so new.
I meant to return and edit my post. I read somewhere that the series will cover the Ariel School encounter in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, which the Abrams series didn’t address. If this is accurate, it will be more intense for the average viewer who is accustomed to “lights in the sky” types of encounters.
I agree with you; it probably won’t be anything new for either of us.
