Am I the only one imagining Sheldon going up to each door and OCD knocking on each one three times?

Fyi, this is level one training. In level three there is a shirtless guy with a shotgun that calls you homophobic derogatory names.

That’s Fred. He is actually a real super nice guy. Wen through training with him. He tried to have the homophobic content changed to just vulgar, but no dice. He’d have to transfer over to level two, and well, they are nice guys, but kinda the short bus crew of the whole operation.

Tell him Dave from naked drunk guy crew four on level six says hello and his advice about the pills really did save my job and marriage.

The things they do now are way more crazy than when I left some years ago. They’re a very dangerous organization. They thoroughly manipulate you. Not to mention that they’re bleeding money from legal problems mostly related to systemic defence and concealment of a whole lot rape, mostly children.

If anyone reading this is considering joining the JWs first look into these allegations. It’s a very real and serious problem.

I couldn’t stress enough that you absolutely should not! Consider looking on YouTube as well.

Their favorite tactic is probably love bombing. We were thoroughly instructed on how to make potential new members feel “welcomed” there are literally mandatory “mid-week” meetings that they used to call the school. It is, literally a school to teach you how to manipulate people into joining. They literally teach you how much of the “truth” they should reveal to new recruits without scaring them off. I guess people are scared off when they know the “truth” which is basically an endless web of lies to try and validate and justify the endless harm they cause people. Mostly by manipulation and “disfellowshipment.” They won’t let you get higher education except when they need it themselves (they paid for some people to go to school and become lawyers to defend them.) And you can’t marry anyone who’s not baptized through their organization. Things like this should really rase red flags for people.
