Good morning/afternoon/evening/night (go to sleep, you), Monolith fans. We have recently been... made aware of a legal situation regarding the name of the game. Specifically, it was trademarked in 2015 by Warner Bros—we assume this has to do with their subsidiary game studio, Monolith Productions, but we aren't sure. We haven't heard anything from Warner Bros, and it's possible we never would.

This is a bit of a weird one. “Monolith” got renamed due to the name being trademarked by Warner Bros. They decided to give away the DLC for free and seem to be releasing the game on Switch soon via Big Mode publishing.

I personally think this game is very good and very underrated, so it’s nice to see it get more coverage.

    That’s really unfortunate that they have to rebrand. Monolith is a very recognizable name
