My friend group is a mix of dudes and chicks. A female friend of mine was one of the groomsmen for my wedding party. While over the decades there have been some minor romantic encounters within it, typically we look outside of our friend group for our partners, and most of us are married now. It’s absolutely insane to me that there is a culture of women and men not being friends in North America, I can’t imagine living like that.
