Google says, depending on grade, around $600-$700 USD.

yes, but 700 bucks for 200g… if i studied biology instead of my current course i would definitely make it my life goal to find a way how to grow various mushrooms.

Lawl imagine if you could just inject some truffle spores into a packet of Uncle Ben’s, then poop it into some dirt.

Then again, growing a batch of golden teachers will net you enough flushes to trade for a truffle like this.

There are some truffle farms, but not many and it’s not clear yet that they are profitable since truffle growth takes a long time and a lot of land. The process all together sounds pretty fickle.

It’s that expensive because it’s hard to farm. If it can be reliably farmed the price would likely go down.

Weird because this grocery store I’d go to always had a ton of orchids on sale. For cheap.

Yeah but the whole reason for the price is because these are a pain to grow

As far as I am aware they already do… But still needs certain conditions certain trees etc. And certain years before they appear.

I saw the image before I read the title and for a split second I thought that was something that had been removed from inside the dog lol

The standard rate is 3 good boys, 2 head pats, and 2 slightly too hard rib slaps.

A one treat bonus should make this right with the NAAGD.

The National Association for the Advancement of Good Dogs recognizes their constituents needs for attention from their family over treats.

We also recognize that table scraps count as treats and know that if we have too many, we will go from being Good Dogs, to Bad Dogs, after uncontrollably shitting or vomitting on the floors.

While we understand some of our base wishes for unlimited scraps and treats, we must also recognize that the health of our members is paramount over gluttony.

We are willing to go to the table for discussion if you want to settle on two treats… But anything more than two will require a good faith act of tricks for more.

That dog gets at least an ounce of that truffle or all dog work remains on hold.

Why would you just post this publicly? What do you want dogs unionizing?!

Felines are largely incapable of organizing (see: “herding cats”), though some wild varieties have been observed subjugating a single breeding male for babysitting/guard duties while the females hunt and otherwise run shit.

Sources quote a lack of motivation and need for performing micromanagement as the source of no cat unions.
