    It’s only a crisis from the POV of endless-growth capitalism. In reality, with AI & robotics doing more and more work, they’ll be fine.

    Demographic crisis for whom

    Fewer people should mean more resources for each of us

    Robots can soon take care of the elderly and do menial labor

      You know it will only work that way if we make it work that way, right? Depopulation doesn’t magically make the wealthy give up their wealth to the rest of us. Robots will eliminate jobs but there will always be menial labor for the have-nots, and the goal of the wealthy is for everyone else to be a have-not.

      Its the same when any country becomes dominated by one large city. Same with Paris & France & London & Britain.
