I dunno if that would really be all that different from the past of media. There’s already an awful lot of soulless, vapid regurgitations of media that came before.

And there’s already vastly more media produced on a daily basis than I could consume in a lifetime, most of it that I have zero interest in, so it’s not like adding more to the deluge is going to have a significant impact.

For that matter, there’s already more original, meaningful, impactful media than I can consume in a lifetime. Maybe AI tools will help me find just the right mix of entertaining trash and meaningful substance to keep me supplied with cheap content for the rest of my life.
