Qualified immunity is bullshit. It means the taxpayers foot the bill when police screw up, instead of them taking personal responsibility for their actions.
‘Qualified immunity’ is bullshit, but I want bad cops and bad police departments penalized. Payouts and settlements should come directly from the police department’s budget. Start doing that, and we’ll suddenly have very well-behaved police.
That’s a weird way to spell “pension fund”.
This problem wont go away until half the country stops thinking that disobeying the police deserves summary execution.
