Russia really should reconsider whether it’s worth parking their fleet in a foreign country.

It’s wild how much damage Ukraine has done to the Russian navy.

Based on the history of the Russian Navy, and the state it was in even before the war, I would say the real damage to the Russian Navy has always been done by the Russian Navy.

Although Ukraine has definitely been destroying what little is left. I especially like how ever boat that’s hit is always “in for repairs” so it “was of no strategic value to Ukraine” even though statistically speaking every Russian ship is always in for repairs… since the don’t exactly work.

Their navy has been garbage for a long time.

I’m not a naval expert. I was army but I thought they have defense mechanisms against missile attacks. Either they don’t work or they suck.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Ukraine used British cruise missiles in a significant attack against the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet in occupied Crimea, Sky News understands.

Admiral Sir Ben Key, the head of the Royal Navy, was asked about the Sevastopol attack during a speech at an arms fair in London.

He did not talk about any specifics and was not asked about the potential involvement of missiles given by the UK, but he said: "[The Ukrainians] are demonstrating what can be done through innovative thought processes and a willingness to take risk.

Mikhail Razvozhayev, the Moscow-installed governor of Sevastopol, the largest city in Crimea and a major Black Sea port, said on Telegram that at least 24 people were injured.

The strategic shipyard on the peninsula, which Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014, builds and repairs ships and submarines of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Elon must be in his personal bomb shelter because Vlad promised him that an attack on the fleet would mean nuclear war!
