I was very surprised after waiting all year to see them drastically cut the price a day after our summer tourist season ended. From $69 to $39 for a 2019, 2020, and 2021 cask strength releases 375ml. It has had the asterisk on the full price tag for awhile now and I was hoping this day would come. About a full pallet left when I got mine.

Shame they use plastic on the bottles like that. I wonder how many micro particles they will turn into? A million? More? It would be interesting to see the data on that.

I’m not sure it is. We just burnt some to test and it was very much plastic.

Sounds scientific, I’m sold.
There is a “How it’s Made” video on YouTube for whiskey, and Makers Mark is the factory they tour, IIRC they have a section on the wax capping.
Its more then just believing it… Reproducable experiments my friend. Try it yourself.
I get your intention, but …the whiskey will probably do much more damage than any of the plastic
