A Metropolitan Police officer has pleaded not guilty to raping a woman in an incident more than two years ago. PC Sam McGregor, 31, was first arrested in June 2021 after an allegation emerged of sex without consent the previous month. The officer, part of the Met’s Central North Command Unit, was charged with rape in May, after a two-year investigation, and appeared in the dock at the magistrates court last month.
