The flag has been criticized for its monarchistic and imperialistic symbolism.

Honestly this flag is lit, an amazing spin on the design and symbolism of the classic black eagle found in so many different flag. My only gripe is that, as a flag, it is more like a coat of arms placed onto a boring white background.
