I started reading the fantastic Bendis & Maleev run back in 2000s. How about you?
Got started with Ed Brubaker’s run and read it for a while. Fell off comics for a handful of years but got back into Mark Waid’s run. Currently off comics now that I can’t afford them, but I buy the occasional trade paperback.
I knew of the character since I was a kid i think it was a Spiderman comic or something Idk, but didn’t really get into DD till the Netflix show.
The Netflix show (now on Disney+) is such a good adaptation of the character. It borrows heavily from Bendis/Maleev and Frank Millers runs.
The netflix tv show
Knew about the character beforehand but became a fan due to the Netflix show. Have read most of the recommended comic runs since except for the current one, not fully caught up yet.
Speaking of, the reading list recommendation from Reddit was amazing
Thanks for the comment. The Netflix (now Disney) shown was/is awesome. I’m optimistic Born Again will also be solid. Thanks for mentioning the reading list. That has been linked to from the community’s sidebar. Cheers!
I’m also optimistic and very excited about Born Again.
Thanks for adding the reading guide to the sidebar, it’s a great resource! Just created an archive for it here: https://web.archive.org/web/20230709013010/https://www.reddit.com/r/Daredevil/wiki/readingguide/
Thanks! I updated the sidebar link. Cheers!
