I dare say that I am now 100 percent again. And I am once again convinced that I can take a shot at the world title next year.
This is why I think Perez is never going to really work out at Red Bull; he seems to have two confidence settings: broken and delusional. It seems there’s always going to be drama with either broken Perez struggling to perform or delusional Perez insisting he get treated as equal to Max when he’s clearly not.
RB’s trend of chewing up second drivers continues basically.
Not really sure if that is entirely just a RB thing, see Bottas. I think it’s just that top Teams don’t really want two extraordinary drivers. The want one extraordinary one and a great one. And if you’re the great one I think it’s mentally very tough once you realize that hard work will never get you the same result as that little bit of extra inate talent, and that the team will never support you in the same way.
