Bitwarden! Since i migrated to them i never looked for anything else. It just does everything. I even have the membership just to support them (even if i don’t really need any of their premium features)

Yep, same. I’ve been super happy with Bitwarden (I switched whenever it was that lastpass announced they were making the mobile app a paid feature). It’s nice that they let you self host as well (although I trust their security more than I trust my own…)

I switched over because our company started using BW and the plan also gave every employee a voucher for a family plan wholly separate from the company plan. Been really happy with it.

I’m probably the only one here, but I use pass. Small and simple password manager with gpg encrypted passwords. Have it syncing between PC and phone using Syncthing and only on local network.

I’ve heard good things about Bitwarden, but I don’t feel the need to switch.

I use it too. There are dozens of us! I don’t use it with a browser add-on. But found instead you can copy seperate lines to clipboard with -c for password (first line), -c2 username/other info (second line), -c3 third line, ect…

The Firefox addon is so good for it, its open source and just runs a basic Python script in the background locally. Very handy.

Whoever still uses last pass is at fault…

When logmein bought last pass I jumped ship FAST

Logmein literarily provided remote tools for scam call centers for years.

So they lost my trust instantly.

Just use bitwarden it’s free or if you want to support them 12 per year you get some great ( but non needed) features.

When LastPass jumped from $10 to $36 without offering new features, I stopped service.

When LastPass continued to bill me $36 a year (multiple years) even though I had DELETED my account, I had to make my credit union go to war with them. LastPass is never ever ever allowed to draw money ever again!

A note about BitWarden: Yes, they offer a free service. But nothing is truly free. (As mentioned above) Please consider paying for their service (I think it’s like $12 or something). We need to support good businesses, otherwise only the bad ones survive.

Well I guess I’m glad my upgrade went just fine and my vault is working as normal. Considering how often I use it, I can only imagine how much of a pain it is to not have access to it.
