ML: “I am curious, what’s your guys’ plan? Because the House Oversight…”
MW: “Every whistleblower, the committee’s treated with respect and fully heard out.”
ML: “Well, [Sen. Mike] Rounds said he met with the head of AARO, Kirkpatrick, and said he pushed him on the fact that whistleblowers don’t feel protected.”
MW: “The vice-chairman [Marco Rubio] and I have met recently with Dr. Kirkpatrick and reiterated our belief that this is a really serious topic and needs to be treated that way. And it’s the first time that the federal government has put the resources and the scientific heft behind this effort, and we are absolutely very closely monitoring it.”

It’s reassuring to see that this is being taken seriously, though that may also mean a harder battle from those trying to derail disclosure. And, it’s definitely reaffirming the fact that something of real significance is being hidden from the public. The issue of DoD spending and oversight wouldn’t have this urgency or need this many whistleblowers since we’ve known about their failed audits for years. Combined with the recent focus on AARO and NASA, there’s clearly concern over over the UAP themselves and what is being kept from the public about them. Hopefully Congress can get their act together and finally pass the NDAA with UAP amendments.
I agree. I feel that much of the direction this discussion, and the topic in general, will take moving forward hinges on what happens with the Schumer-Rounds UAP amendment.
Things I am taking away from this:
- The rumors of more than one whistleblower are true.
- I believe the “gang of 8” in the Senate is taking this topic very seriously.
I’m curious as to whether these whistleblowers have reached out to the House Intel Committee as they have with the Senate. I have no doubt that the House Intel Committee is clued into what’s going on with the investigations and so forth, regardless of whether whistleblowers are talking to them.
