    Remember that anyone can be elected speaker, even someone off the street. You know who no republican would dare vote against if nominated? I’ll give you one guess.

      Careful what you wish for. We may end up with someone even worse than McCarthy. If Gaetz has his way, it will be someone that refuses to compromise with the Democrats regardless of the consequences.

        The far right and the entire Democratic party dislike him for the same reason, which I find kind of telling about the state of the GOP and conservative politics at large.
