In what world does the IT dictate something like this, have you ever worked in a company?
I was half joking but honestly it’s an experimental project, and they’re doing the brunt of the work.
Well I certainly didn’t have “the BBC self hosts their own federated social media” on my 2023 bingo card.
I’m profoundly uncomfortable with the BBC doing anything I’d describe as based.
Here’s to hoping Tumblr actually gets on the activitypub train someday as well.
