What are we talking about here? The Coke ad?
There’s already enough ads inside our publicly funded ferries and terminals… this is just overdoing it.
The fares get raised every season and we pass laws to increase ferry funding for worse service, yet there’s still a need to shove these ads down our throats? The service is objectively worse than it was a decade ago, but it’s more expensive beyond inflation. Maybe I’d be okay with these ads if the ferries were dependable and I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg to use them.
Also the fact that Seattle has both a soda tax and advertisements for soda. Seems a bit contradictory.
Wtf.
This makes me sad.
What are we complaining about now?
I kept trying to see what the cars in the picture were doing wrong. Apparently they’re mad about the Coke ad.
That’s hideous.
Pissed more people aren’t pissed about this
Apparently there’s a bunch of folks OK with plastering ads on our Seattle icons. We should just wrap Mt. Rainier next in some Coke ads.
Unfortunately the ads are there for money. The money earned means less tax requirements.
Ideally the government would have the tax funds it needs to not even consider this
deleted by creator
