That sounds interesting, I particularly like the road conditions leading to higher rates of traffic accidents and agents re-routing around them, I can imagine that leading to some really interesting gameplay.
With that in mind, I’d love a deeper simulation mode where road changes / constructions take time and result in the road closing while there’s active work - having to plan for the excess traffic re-routing could be really compelling.
Side-note, is the TAA implementation here using camera-only motion vectors? The blurriness on moving objects is pretty extreme (the people crossing the road at 1:17 is a really clear example).

For me one of the best thing is cost and intersection complexity ! This will add a real challenge to building an efficient road system and public transport system.
However I’m a little bit worried about the optimization of this kind of simulation…
So the car accident in the trailer was intentional?
Might have been. Or maybe it was just a happy little “accident”.
I find it somewhat funny that road construction is instant, but maintenance requires a truck to go out and repair the roads. I doubt it will be abusable though.
