Honestly, I can imagine that happening on lijn, their drivers are just… different
That’s messed up. Ofcourse there could be more to this story as we only hear one side now but in the end a girl ended up with a broken arm so however this started the driver is in the wrong. I don’t envy bus or train drivers though, the amount of shit they have to deal with on a daily basis is not something I could do. But again, not defending him, I also encountered my fair share of unpleasant drivers when I used to work in Brussels.
I have tried both lijn and stib lines in Brussles and I should say stib drivers are so much more relaxed and friendly, no idea what makes the lijn drivers so stiff and angry, might be a very strict policy and control on them. After all buses have cameras so about this particular case we can check the cameras and see what actually happened.
