He’s actually got a wild story.
He was born in a refugee camp in Kenya and spent a lot of his early life fleeing the civil war in Ethiopia. His mother and brother were able to come to the US but his dad was barred for medical reasons.
His dad was finally able to make it to the US and this game was the first time they were reunited in 21 years. So it was a big deal.
Okay, so they aren’t just bulling this guy in particular.
