I saw NC perform his solo show tonight in Toronto, and I thought we all needed a little Jubilee Street. He’s still the most terrifying person I’ve ever seen.
Jealous of that.
It was fantastic. He scares me to death but all of his songs are about Jesus, it’s the craziest.
There’s a band called Wovenhand. It’s like if Nick Cave was from Appalachia. Very fire and brimstone, lyrically. Saw them play at a little club once and it blew my mind. The singer’s mannerisms and stage presence was unsettling.
