Nib: Extra fine tip Ink: take-sumi iroshizuku

I used to dream of owning a LAMY 2000 back in college, only recently got to the place in life where a pen of that caliber is within the (kinda) budget. Looked into more of the lineup and opted for the Dialog 3 in the end after nerding over the capless design.

I never would have thought I’d have a shot for something like this, so excited to put miles on it, going to be writing a good bulk of my notes for tabletop Cyberpunk with it!

Love these things. I have that and piano black and they’re some of my favorite pens for the visual design alone. The round-ended tube look is so prime even if they’re a little wide for me to use completely comfortably

I was very on the fence between the piano and more matte finish, I think the piano black is way prettier but was worried about the fingerprints

Tbh I don’t think I’d care since I love fingerprints on brass pens, but I can’t complain, I’m very happy

Do you have a cc and have any opinions on it?

I think you made the right choice by far, my first was matte black and I only picked up the piano black at discount. It looks better but piano black typically scratches so I don’t use it. This would be a funny way to find out they have some anti scratch coating, but I’ve found that stuff to age poorly when handled.

I do not have a cc! I’ve been seeing them around and do like the blue color though. Don’t care too much for the flat end but if I find one at a good price I’ll pick it up

White one is the best, no fingerprints no scratches
