    Setting all the political and humanitarian context aside, it must be a really weird logistical situation for an airline when people ONLY want to leave a city, in droves, and no one wants to come. I guess they probably just double prices since they can’t sell tickets on those inbound flights.

        So you’re saying that passenger planes inbound to Lebanon have the seats filled with cargo on the way in? Maybe the luggage hold below the plane can be used for cargo, but even then it seems pretty unlikely as commercial trade routes are probably not set up to use consumer passenger infrastructure in random temporary situations like this.

        And besides, the same forces affect cargo, too. With people fleeing Lebanon, demand for goods will be lower than normal.
