      It’s hugely encouraging to see this activity happening at an Ivy League school. I hope this helps catalyze young people from wealthy families to start working towards the common good.

      It’s usually the birth name of a transgender person who has transitioned to a new name of their choosing. So like if Dave decided they want to be Lindsey, calling Lindsey “Dave” would be dead naming them

      A “dead name” or “deadname” is the term for the name given at birth to a person who has turned out to be transgender and changed their name as part of their transition. Knowing that a person has a preferred name and intentionally using their dead name is a fairly hostile act.
