There’s not much they can do. If it’s all reverse engineered and requires as copy of the original rom for assets, the legal precedent is pretty much set. It’s why the Mario 64 PC port is still up.

It’s already released anyways. You’ll be able to get it even if they force it off line. AM2R is a great example of this. It was forced offline immediately by Nintendo. It’s super easy to get today, and even has a launcher that’ll dl new updates for you.

If it’s like the Mario 64 and Zelda Ocarina of Time ports it’ll be legendary. I have both on my Steam Deck and it’s amazing playing both in widescreen 60fps upscaled.
They added an extended menu for all the new settings and added a special key for crouching and kneeling. They also implemented blur effects, centered the HUD option, and improved the Xbox controller support.
Definitely dling this.
But why would anyone add blur effects into a game that doesn’t have it? Blur is the first thing I turn off in any game. I don’t know anyone that plays with blur on. It’s a horrible useless “feature”.Anywho, love a modern controls perfect dark!
Edit, from the read me:
The following extra features are implemented:mouselook; dual analog controller support; widescreen resolution support; configurable field of view; 60 FPS support, including fixes for some framerate-related issues; fixes for a couple original bugs and crashes; basic mod support, currently enough to load a few custom levels; slightly expanded memory heap size.
A Linux release is much appreciated
Maybe go check the releases and click the one that says Linux?
They said “is” and not “would be”, so I’m assuming they know there is a Linux release and are appreciative of it.
Yes that was my intent lmao
Ah, I see. I thought you were asking for one, and that people coming by would be under the impression that there wasn’t one already.
Man, and I’m just waiting on a port of Eternal Darkness
