Some GOP Senators are openly criticizing Tuberville for holding up 61 military nominations. Tuberville claims he will not approve any nominees until there is a national abortion ban.

Tuberville, a former college football coach, is claiming his actions do not have any impact on US Military readiness.

The public confrontation of Tuberville was led by Senator Dan Sullivan of Alaska, and he was joined by Republican Sens. Joni Ernst of Iowa, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Todd Young of Indiana and Mitt Romney of Utah.

They named each of the 61 nominees by name and listed their qualifications and requested votes on each senior officer by unanimous consent, over several hours.

Tuberville denied them all, saying he was “As Pro-Life as they come.”

The Senate needs 60 votes to override Tuberville.

Why aren’t there the 60 votes to override his veto - where do all the other Republican senators stand on this?

The simple answer is that it’s because the republican party is corrupt.

Personally, I think there are more that silently disagree with Tuberville but fear MAGA’s reaction to crossing the aisle.

        They’re all spineless, really.
