This might be a bit of an odd one: I am a great shroom enthusiast. On my trip I ‘saw’ an entity that looked like something described in aleister crowley’s writings. I didn’t read his writings at the time. Searching up on google it yielded and excerpt that goes somewhat as follows, I am asking for your help to identify the work in which the passage is found:

description of a pyramid with an eye for a capstone and (iirc) made out of light and in a dark realm/room and aleister crowley then went on to say that the thing itself is only a distraction to prevent you from looking at what is beneath it or what it’s lower half looks like.

I know this is a weird one but please humor me. I know there is at least one of you who is familiar with all of his writings and can point me in the right direction.

If google search still worked I’d find it myself.

Ayo! This probably isn’t helpful but I’ve read The Book Of The Law and I’m pretty damn sure it is somewhere in there. That book is really interesting and coded and super short so if you’re wondering about this kind of thing I’d suggest you try reading it. You might be able to see farther between the lines than most of us

thank you, but I’m not so much looking for a book but for a single paragraph within an essay book or other work

Did you read the description of the book the guy linked?

This is an objective biographical study of Crowley written by someone who lived and worked intimately with him. Dr. Regardie observed “The Great Beast” at close quarters while serving as his personal secretary. The Eye in the Triangle was written many years later, after long contemplation. Regardie combines the psychological insight afforded by his professional training as a Reichian analyst with his grasp of Crowley’s magical personality.

It’s likely that the passage wasn’t written by Crowley himself, so a source like the one linked may be useful.

Also Libgen if you’d rather download the book and ctrl+f the passage you’re looking for

Those all seem to be from one source, specifically chronicling his visions/trips, so maybe if you’ve read that collection it would be where it’s from? Although, I dunno how many of those books exist

Bard to the rescue (or it’s just flat out lying, it does that a lot to me, with confidence).

I tried Chatgpt, but got no result. Maybe you could give it a try. It always asked for more context, which I was unable to give…

While not a direct match, perhaps Therion?
