KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Knoxville police officer is in custody for producing child porn after authorities arrested the victim’s mother in Virginia.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security Investigations arrested Dan Roark on Monday on a federal complaint for producing child pornography. Roark has been with the Knoxville Police Department since 2007 and last served on patrol in Oct. 2020.
