God Lower Decks is so amazing for bringing back all these ‘loose threads’.
I’m still so glad for Ro’s return in PIC, I know everyone always talks shit about the Tuvix situation but the one that never sat right with me was the way Picard treated Ro and put her in an impossible situation and doubled down on it. And that it wasn’t painted as a “I know this is a difficult mission but captains have to make hard calls” but more of a “you’re going to have to sell out people that you obviously would sympathize with and I’m gonna make you the bad guy for doing so.”
For all they’ve tied up, still waiting on the return of the conspiracy bugs. Maybe season 5.
We really do. That and the creepy bastards who kidnapped Riker while sleeping and experimented on him. That and I distinctly remember something where they stopped creepy invader types and they got blasted into space or something but the episode lingered like “They know where we are now… we must be prepared”
