Wild to see people get so passionate about a remote conflict. I’m not 100% convinced it’s only due to humanitarian outrage because genocide in Xinjiang did not trigger mass protests on this scale when it was revealed a few years ago.

IMO Palestine aroses such passions because it fits more neatly into culture war narratives on both sides.
