Thanks, using list to find new subs

This is what I’ve been doing - The sidebar of the instance you want to save has a thing you can search like “[email protected]

So you take your home server and plug in the instance like this: https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected]

Then you should be able to subscribe. Probably a way easier way to do this or a script but this is what I’ve been doing so far.

Will this site be updated with more as they come. I find it hard to find ones for the ones from reddit.

Thanks for the list! I still have no idea how to actually subscribe to these. Someone really needs to code an easier way to subscribe to communities cross federation. I’m usually pretty technical and I’m still having a difficult time with it, especially on mobile. Crafting my own URL is a PITA and probably more than an average user should be expected to do when they first sign up for a new site.

I’m finding a lot of them I can’t add. I think a lot of these aren’t federating with anymore else maybe. Or at least my home instance. Anyone else having this issue?

I’m getting this issue when adding one for the first time too, might have to go directly via the URL but from your instance (copy how other ones look maybe)
