      Nope, I actually hope it’s the precedent that makes police dogs no longer officers. It’s a slave chasing hold over that allows a natural reaction (striking an attacking animal) a reason to hold them for longer and thus gain slave labor for longer.

      It’s he a shitty person, probably, animal cruelty sure. Is a dog a sworn officer, hell no and human nature such as resisting and attempting escape should not be criminally charged unless there are independently unlawful acts included.

        I don’t think dogs should be considered officers and I don’t think assaulting an officer should be a different crime than assaulting anybody else. I’m just going based off of existing laws.

          I gotcha, it’s just that if they get rid of that nonsense it’s likely to protect their own in a case like this.
