So, here’s the thing…
Jackdaws are two species of bird in the genus Coloeus closely related to, but generally smaller than, crows and ravens (Corvus).
@Steve is referring to the fairly famous Reddit controversy surrounding the ban of user /u/unidan. Specifically, this exchange.
TIL, thanks. I knew of/about u/unidan, and even knew he got banned for alt voting, but didn’t know the thing that did it.
That’s the one. In the UK anyway, distinctly smaller than crows, very vocal, flock, and look for the grey hood.
