None of the people who brutalized Floyd protesters deserve qualified immunity.

Gonna be hard to end it though. Our current president supports militarized police, and the Republicans aren’t going to change qualified immunity laws either.

You don’t accidentally shoot someone in the head with a lead pellet bag. These less lethal weapons are meant to be fired lower and they get training as such.

Aiming at the head is lethal force and not the intended use of the weapon.

As far as I’m concerned, the key word is “qualified”. If you’re a cop who thinks it’s okay to shoot people in the head with a weapon that is intended to be non lethal, then you weren’t qualified to be using that weapon in the first place. No immunity for you!

Yeah, I know they don’t mean the word “qualified” in that sense, but just let me dream, okay?
