Legitimately one of the best JRPG series during the PS1 era. Couple years ago I replayed the whole series and Suikoden 1 and 2 are still absolute masterpieces. Not to mention the soundtracks. I don’t want to sound like an old man but videogame OSTs had their peak in those days.
Played Suikoden 2 countless times back in the day and utterly loved it, absolute masterpiece. Never had the first one until years later on an emulator, but life got in the way and I never got far in it despite trying twice.
