    Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver

Story time: My wife bought this for me 6 years ago - and held onto it for a year before giving it to me on my 40th birthday. There were several milestones to commemorate that year - a big birthday, a big promotion, and finally finishing my college degree. I had been lusting after this this Watch for many moons at this point - and was absolutely stunned when I finally saw it in person.

The watch itself is wonderful - it wears a bit big, but iI love the inner rotating bezel (I’ll post a video of this some other time). It came with the NATO and a very overbuilt steel bracelet.

I have a lot of watches, but this is my favorite for many reasons, not the least of which being a reminder of how much my wife means to me.

That’s a good looking watch! I tried looking it up and it looks like it was recently been re-released this year, but I don’t think the new version looks near as good. I’d be interested in seeing the bezel action, I haven’t seen an inner rotating one before.

        Thanks!

The reissue from this year is actually for a same style ref from the original series. It’s a “compressor” dive watch - it’s actually pretty cool tech from what I remember.

The “S” series was the chrono, which wasn’t reissued.

heres a video of the rotation!

Ok I got a little mushy at the end there. It’s Friday, and it’s been a long week!

I can’t help it, my brain just loves all the shiny little details! And the blue tint of the crystal looks beautiful next to the orange accent on that top pusher, and first quarter of the dial

I’ve seen a video of the bezel action before and was wondering how the 2 o’clock crown operates. Does it snap in and out to engage the bezel?

No, it doesn’t snap in/out. The ring-button is on a spring, so it pops back out on its own. The middle post is one of the chrono pushers.
