Even if she weren’t native this would already be really bad but holy shit that’s so much worse >:(
It’s not that I don’t support indigenous people, but I don’t see it as worse. This happens to individuals of all ages from all people groups when they have the audacity to fail to immediately and perfectly obey multiple confusing or illegal commands.
People need to see more stories of it happening to people like themselves, as well as others to understand that this is systemic. The police accountability movement is growing.
