I’d be more excited if EA didn’t ruin everything they touched.

Like it or not, it’s gonna have to make do with a post BG 3 world.

I’m happy we finally have a date for an actual gameplay!

Tldr: I’m not convinced at all

But to be honest, all those teasers didn’t sit very well with me and they make me quite weary; I’m tired of “teasers teasers teasers”, which were what preceded terrible games (MEA, Anthem just in BioWare).

It’s cool that we are going to explore different parts of thedas, but at the same time I remember how shallow DAI was when it attempted the same thing so I hope it’s more of a DAO situation: no stupid open world (read as: empty) maps, whose only purpose is to make people play a single player game longer (“fetch me ten apples!”)

But then again, i may just be a pessimist after so many games turned to shit (many of which from BioWare itself). But this teaser doesn’t really make me any less weary, it actually makes me even more convinced that dreadwolf will be more like inquisition than DA2 (for the plot) and DAO (for everything else). The last line was quite “evil big guy”, which would be out of character imo if it were Solas; It may be just a tevinter guy, but idk…
