But he also said something along the lines of: “Wars and unruly parties should not be held on your land, because you suffer the damages in the end”.

If you know the enemy and know yourself, your victory will not stand in doubt; if you know Heaven and know Earth, you may make your victory complete.
“Earth” here being the terrain, and “Heaven” being weather.
