A Reason magazine article about Congress preparing to reauthorize a FISA Section 702 domestic spying program that has been misused by the FBI and has violated the privacy of American citizens by tracking their communications. Libertarians should oppose this.

The entire Patriot act is horseshit…it had been pedaled before 911 and soundly rejected. Then the Republican government used 911 to justify stripping Americans of their rights for a perception of safety… those who willingly give up liberty for safety deserve neither…also with all this spying why are we still suffering from mass shootings…almost as if the warrantless invasion of privacy has nothing to do with its stated goal.
