Whenever we open a can of tuna we drain the can into a bowl, split it in two (one for each cat we have) and then dilute it a bit with water and give it to the cats. Our cats go crazy for it.

    Just be careful how often! Tuna can be dangerous if eaten too often because of heavy metals that have accumulated through biomagnification. Also, your cat has less mass than a human, so a smaller amount could be more dangerous to your cat than to us.

      We don’t actually give them the Tuna, just the water in the can. I assume the mercury content in there is lower than in the meat. We don’t have tuna too often either due to the mercury. Probably at most once a week.
